Inspiring Videos

Today I watch a video by a guy called Matthew Harding. Some of you may have heard of him as his original video back in 2006 was one of the most popular videos on You Tube (and named as his “favourite You Tube posts of all time” by the site’s Founder).

In a nutshell, Matthew travels around the world and dances! In his latest video, he has “a cast of thousands” and every time I watch it, it simply brings a smile to my face. It’s the kind of thing you should watch with your kids (and they’ll want to see it again and again). It’s also fun to look at different people dancing each time you watch it.

One post under this video said this: “My son died in iraq 7 weeks ago, and this video allowed me to sleep through the night for the first time”.

Simply, pure fun which makes the soul dance. For me, the real message is just how universal dance is. It doesn’t matter what colour, language, size or shape you are. Imagine what a different wordl the place woudl be if we’d only ever learnt to communiction through dance. As long as you can “shake your booty” preferably with a great big grin on your face, you can’t help but feel good.

Well done Matthew – We need more people like you in this world.

Be prepared to smile…
